Crime Stoppers ACT hopes TICAP will give students a better understanding of the importance of reporting crime related information and take responsibility in their local community.

Crime Stoppers ACT receives limited funding from the Federal Government (Attorney-General’s Department) to help ACT Police solve crime.
Supporting Crime Stoppers ACT will help keep the local community safe and can help position your organisation as a good corporate citizen. Crime Stoppers ACT is planning campaigns to appeal to a wide variety of organisations.

‘Click & Win’ Facebook campaign
The Crime Stoppers ACT ‘Click & Win’ facebook campaign ran period from May – July in 2011.
‘Click & Win’ was an online competition using facebook and the Crime Stoppers ACT motto ‘see something, hear something, say something.’ Participants had to look out for clues, locate a logo and report back in order to win a reward. Local businesses took part by donating prizes for the weekly winners.
The campaign was a success with a growth of over 380 followers, more than 185 entries received for the competition, local media coverage and increased awareness of Crime Stoppers ACT.
