Crime Stoppers and ACT Policing launched a campaign to seek information about illicit drugs activity in the ACT. The campaign aims to reduce and disrupt illicit drug supply in the region.
The campaign runs from September to November 2013 and targets high-level drug dealers, grow house/clandestine laboratories and drug-related activity in the ACT. Illicit drugs are a contributing factor to crime rates within our community. They put an unnecessary burden on the health and judicial system and ACT tax payers. We rely on the community for information to help increase our ability to detect, prevent and enforce illicit drug crime. Campaigns like this one aim to make the community more aware of their social responsibility in reporting illegal drug activity If you have seen or know about illicit drug growing, manufacturing or dealing in the ACT, contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or via the online reporting form. Visit our Crime Stoppers page for more information on how to best provide an effective report. Crime Stoppers allows members of the community to provide anonymous information to police about criminal and suspicious activity. Crime Stoppers provides rewards of up to $1000 for information that leads to an arrest.
