Representatives from Crime Stoppers ACT, McDonalds and ACT Policing celebrate funds raised during Crime Stoppers Week 2018.

Our aim for the week is to raise awareness about the service we provide to the community and encourage everyone to report information about crime to Crime Stoppers.

The week is also an opportunity for us to say thank you to the community. Information provided to Crime Stoppers in 2017 helped apprehend more than 7,900 criminals across Australia – that’s approximately 21 people per day.

We are a not-for-profit, volunteer-led registered charity working to create a safer Canberra in collaboration with the police, the media and the community. However, we do need the support of the community to continue to provide our services.

So we encourage you to participate in one of the many fundraising activities running throughout the week.
